George relocated to Holmes Beach in 2001 after a flourishing 20-year career as an architect in Princeton, N.J. Using his architectural background, experience as a longtime real estate investor, and deep knowledge of Anna Maria Island, George successfully transitioned to a real estate career in 2014, later teaming up with his wife, Hannah Hillyard, at Michael Saunders and Company, where they specialize in luxury waterfront and island properties.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, George earned undergraduate degrees in architecture from Penn State and Cornell University and a master’s degree in architecture from Princeton University. He then established his architectural practice, Myers Associates, where he dedicated 20 years to producing award-winning commissions ranging from residential design to commercial and institutional work. George has a deep appreciation and understanding of residential home design and draws on his experience and expertise to provide a unique perspective that helps maximize his customers’ real estate opportunities. With honesty, integrity, and perseverance, George takes pride in working closely with buyers and sellers to provide a smooth transaction process, successful closing, and results that exceed their expectations.

George is passionate about Anna Maria Island, including its healthy lifestyle, spectacular waters teeming with dolphins, manatees, and other sea life, and his close-knit neighborhood, where friends look out for one another. He also is a contributor to the MSC Foundation and the Wildlife Federation. When not working, George enjoys traveling, golf, home repairs, and cooking.
